Kids learn how to fish at Hooked on Fishing! The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association (HRCAA) is proud to partner with the Colorado Department of Wildlife to promote fishing education to children in Highlands Ranch. On May 19, experts from the Colorado Division of Wildlife will lead this fun and educational class. They will first instruct on the art of angling and ecology; then, it is on to the pond to fish! After the event, the poles is yours to keep. Children can spend the rest of the summer fine tuning their newly learned fishing skills. Class is recommended for children aged 6 – 11 by parent discretion. The class is taught at Redstone Park Pond, 3280 Redstone Park Circle. Two sessions of the class will be offered – one at 9 a.m. and another at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $11 in advance, $15 at the event, if not sold out. Tickets are available by calling 303-471-8859, online at www.HRCAonline.org/tickets or visiting any of the four HRCA facilities. Everything needed for the class is provided. Hooked on Fishing always sells out quickly, so don't hesitate. For more information, visit HRCAonline.org or call 303-791.2500, or go online to www.HRCAonline.org/Events.
